Dry felting is the process of decorating fabrics using dry roving or felt sheets or strands, frequently made of wool. It refers to the process of weaving individual strands into a matted cloth using extremely barbed needles.
Wet felting is the process of making 3D objects out of wool with a barbed needle. Needle Felting is used to agitate the fibers so they bond together, creating a solid fabric. Not only is needle felting attractive but it can also be used for repairs.
